The logo is inspired by the notion of a bird’s-eye-view of homes in the Caribbean, where the recipes of the food come from. It is also like looking from an aeroplane as we are visiting some of the cultures through the food.
The matrix of diamonds also represents the multitudes of countries and their colours, spices and ingredients.
The door used in the poster is a token for the business owner as this event ‘opened doors’ to many opportunities for her and as her way of saying to her customers ‘take a chance in finding out what’s on the other side of the door’.
